L’olio viene estratto dai semi contenuti all’interno del nocciolo del frutto e da sempre le donne di queste regioni lo usano sia in cucina sia per i loro rituali di bellezza.
L’olio di Argan puro che usiamo in SìOro viene prodotto e lavorato da un network di cooperative che aiutano le popolazioni locali a capire l’importanza della conservazione delle foreste di argan per il loro territorio, e che ha ottenuto il premio Slowfood per la conformità al metodo di produzione biologica.
Grazie all’eccezionale contenuto in acidi grassi saturi, l’olio di Argan rigenera il film idrolipidico e rafforza la funzione di barriera della pelle. Il suo contenuto in acido linoleico, uno degli acidi grassi Omega 6, è superiore per tre volte a quello contenuto nell’olio d’oliva, ed aiuta non solo a preservare l’integrità delle cellule, ma anche a lenire le infiammazioni.
